Pupils can use pegs to clip at the bottom of the correct number or alternatively they could use counters or dry wipe markers to circle the correct number (includes 20 mats).

The activities are designed for Early Years pupils however they are suitable for pupils with SEN. There are 10 Gumball machine play dough mats. Pupils can make play dough gumballs and place them inside the machines then count using one to one correspondence, this will aid number recognition from 1-10 and encourage counting skills. There are also images of gumballs that can be cut out and laminated to use with the tens frame.
